Tungkil is a Sulu Kulintangan style traditionally used to accompany the Tausug Pangalay dance, providing a flowing rhythmic framework for the dancer’s graceful movements.

Notation for the kulintang part is provided in both the Time Unit Box System (TUBS) and a comparable Western musical notation.
Notation for the accompanying instruments will remain in a Western-style format
